Trust No Bunny

Directed marketing, managed social media + community + press + content creators, wrote copy, edited video, streamed gameplay, and generally flexed into whatever role or execution was needed during the game’s early access.

Recently I consulted on the upcoming social deduction game Trust No Bunny, the first title from brand new studio Friendly Pixel. As Director of Marketing & Community at an indie studio, it was a thrilling challenge to search for unique strategies to break into the market and build a community from the ground up, without the usual AAA budget.

One standout success was conceiving and then managing a Twitch drop integration which caught the eye of streamer & content creator Kaif, who — along with their “Salt Raider” creator crew — became regular players. From there, other streamers caught on and tried the game out for themselves. The integration was a low lift, high return way to take advantage of Twitch’s drop feature and give Trust No Bunny a big boost in awareness.
