In-Character Copy

While I’m not a narrative writer by trade, sometimes the opportunity to write copy “in-character” just fits too well to pass up.

For League of Legends — a game defined by the exceptional character design of its 100+ champions — this opportunity seemed to keep coming up. The “voice” was never the same each time, but in every instance it added an extra flourish that players loved, turning what could have been clinical communications or unimaginative blurbs into yet another way to engage with the fantasy world of the game.
